I use Skype a lot, and this unit is small enough to fit on my crowded desk. The sound was better than I expected, and it is, well, FUN! But here is the best part...an elderly friend (who previously insisted that he would never use Skype)used it, and now is using Skype! What a great way to make technology less intimidating for seniors.

Though this may not have many practical uses, other than getting your brain away from constant cell phone radiation, it is an interesting gadget and very well designed. I love the rubber pad that the phone rests on - makes it very easy to make calls and still use your phone for other functions. The design is modern and would look fine in most offices. The sound quality on the receiver is just as good as the phone, and receiver makes it easy to end calls and answer directly from the receiver with a push of a button.This product is not for everyone, but if you make frequent calls from you cell phone and would still like to use other smartphone functions, this is the perfect tool. Recommended if you are looking for something like this already.

The Native Union is a great product. I thought it might be nice and a bit of a gimmick, but I really enjoy using it.The base has a good weight and rubberized feet to stay in place. The footprint is small. There's a cutout to use a charging cable. The sound on my end is great, and the sound for the other caller is good as well. There's nothing really to set up. You plug in the cords, and plug in your phone, then speak through the handset. You can start a conversation on the phone, and then just plug in the Native Union to transfer sound through the handset instead.Overall, it works great and is easy to use. I highly recommend it.
