I have both the jawbone ERA and the M25. Bottom line:Jawbone ERA: Pros: bells and whistles, extras, great mic, Cons: pricy, flat sound quality, heavy,Plantronics: M25: Pros: great speaker sound quality, very light in the ear. great mic. Cons: no USB charging solution included.Between the two I would buy the M25 hands down. I can buy 3 m25 for the same price as 1 jawbone. Jawbone ERA Bluetooth Headset - Shadowbox - Retail PackagingI called a friend and asked how the I sound when using the m25 and he said he could not tell I was on a headset. When I switched betweent the phone and m25 he said the headset sounded crisp and clear.Rated at 11 hrs of talk time vs 5 for the jawbone. I have yet test to test actual times. It's half the size and much lighter which is important. You don't feel the weight so it's easy to wear long term as it stays in the ear.YTest the m25 with music it was clear the m25 sounds so much better then the jawbone. Richer bass, brighter highs, nothing harsh or flat, for a headrest. The jawbone obviously did not sound as good switching between the two of them.I have had no problem with connection. The range is good so far an have no problem walking around the office or putting the phone in my pocket. There's no indication of compression and connection noise. This is my 4th different headset over the years and by far this is the M25 out performs the others.I'll have to report back when I have tested the following: Mic camparison between the two Noisy situation Talk time, charge time, standby by time RangeOverall I have been very happy with the performance of the m25

I have had a Plantronics M50 headset for about 10 months and was going to order one for my wife, but bought this instead. I was reluctant to order the M25 because of the mixed reviews and was not sure of the new gel loop earpiece. It is a very good headset and comfortable. I have not worn it all day yet, but the loop wedges in the ear and does not bother me so far. This is a little shorter than the M50 and about 70% as thick. Without the wraparound earpiece, it feels much smaller. The M25 has an eleven hour talk time and when you turn it on, it tells you how many hours are available.I do not have the dropped connection issues with the M25 that others have reported. It has a tad shorter range than the M50, but this is not a problem. The advertised range is 33' and so far meets the claim.11/14/12 update- This headset is comfortable to wear all day.Volume- It is better than the M50. The M50 even at the lowest setting can hurt my ear to the point that I jammed a piece of cotton in the ear bud. This M25 has a reasonable level, but does not make you go deaf.Range- The M50 does win this one, but the M25 can easily go 25'.If I were to order a headset today, I would pick this over the M50. The M50 is very good, but this has better volume, is more comfortable and smaller to drop in your pocket(just turn off first to avoid pocket redial)

Well when I got the M25 I plugged it in to charge for 5 min or so just to test it out. I specifically got it to listen to music/books and to be light weight and comfortable. Pairing was super easy, no problem there. However when I listen to music on my LG motion the signal/connection sucks! It breaks up continuously and stops working after about 30 seconds. I decided maybe it wasn't fully charged even though it said it had 11hrs of life so i plugged it back and and waited a few hours. Once again super easy to link up but music over M25 was terrible (however the calling seemed to work)! I had my old iPhone 3g laying around and so for s***s and giggles i wanted to see if the connection was better for that one. Works amazingly for the iPhone! Now I'm just confused, so I have another set of bluetooth head-phones (the Motorola S10-HD) so i decided to pair them with LG-motion and they work flawlessly. So I have no idea with the problem is between the M25 and my LG motion. I will be returning the M25, if they worked as well with the LG motion as they do with the iphone i would be super happy. So yes they do work, but not with my phone, so my suggestion is to keep your receipt!
