If you already own an iGo charger, then dropping $9.99 on a new Power Tip is probably a much cheaper alternative to buying a whole new charger. The problem is that the A43, at least for my Palm Centro, is a poor fit. It charges well but the connection is so loose that if I accidentally bump or need to move the phone the Power Tip usually falls right out of the phone. It's extremely annoying.I wouldn't dissuade anyone from buying this charging tip, but don't expect to use it in a situation in which the phone will be moved often (e.g. in the car, talking on it while it is charging). Keep in mind that I have only used this with my Palm Centro. It may work better for Treos and other phones.

The plug was recieved early, works great, I would not hesitate to use this vendor again! The adaptor makes my life easier.

This review is coming a bit late, but way back in the days before I switched to the iphone, I had a palm centro-a product so woefully inadequate and poorly designed I'm surprised it ever made it to market but that's a different story. I was travelling for work and in the rush to make my flight, had forgotten to pack my chargers. Doh! Lucky for me, the Hudson News at the airport had a fully stocked display of iGo chargers and tips. So I picked up a charger, splitter, and the appropriate tips. Cheaper than going to best buy and getting the chargers separately. Brilliant. Or so I thought.I bought this tip adapter for an iGo splitter which charged both an ipod and a phone or my work phone and my personal phone depending on the time of day ... this was the 3rd such identical tip I had to buy (in less than 8 months) because the product is such a piece of out and out junk. I'm not talking failure after years or even months of use, but mere WEEKS of use--the tip would become so loose that the phone would just disconnect and stop charging. A weak breeze in the room would cause the connections to fail. (the connection between phone and tip, not tip and splitter.) You can argue that the inherent flaw with the product is palm's phone design but what made the product and the ensuing situation beyond ridiculous was....I contacted customer service via email (documentable) numerous times in an effort to get resolution (and to let them know what utter garbage I found their product to be) and actually made direct contact with someone who got back to me ONCE, asked me a couple of questions and left the quality issues of the product unresolved-I NEVER heard from them again save that one information gathering interaction. I followed up several times in case I'd lost emails to the spam filter but never received any further response from them.I would give this product zero stars if I could--because of their shoddy quality, and far below acceptable levels of customer service. It's a dead heat as to which is worse.Do NOT buy their products unless you want to be flushing your money down the toilet to buy replacements for their poorly manufactured products. And don't expect any level of customer service. They'll just ignore you.
