First of all, for the price this is a pretty rad bluetooth headset. The sound quality is pretty great, the rattling I read about in other reviews in honestly negligible if you are playing your music around half volume, and the fit is pretty perfect for anyone with an "average" size head like myself. Voice quality is pretty decent from the feedback I've gotten, though I do get the occasional static fits.Paired easily with my Samsung Galaxy Note 2, my Dell XPS laptop, and PC using the kinivo dongle. I don't get complaints about conflicts people experience with the headset acting up trying to pair with multiple devices. Obviously, it is a human error on that account because as with any bluetooth device you have to make sure your settings are appropriate (as in multiple devices within range aren't set to autopair). The one con that I will complain about is the chemical smell given off by the pads. It's becoming less noticeable but be warned there is an initial sharpie-like odor so either air them out or clean with alcohol wipes before you go using them for longer periods of time. Also be warned, set as headphones on your PC they sound awesome but to use them as a headset with on your PC with Skype etc the sound quality drops because the mic only functions on Mono. In your bluetooth device configuration menu, you have to choose to either use them to "listen to music" or VOIP Headset to switch between the two then set them as your default audio playback/recording in your hardware>sound menu. On a mobile device, there are no issues.

Picked these up as I'm training for a couple of road races, and I was getting tired of adjusting my volume from my smartphone (also cords were becoming a nuisance). They sound great, they put out a lot more sound than I expected (although I find the bass to be a little high). My only issue is there seems to be something rattling in the right side headphone... It's not noticeable when the music is playing, but between songs or at the end of a workout it's a tiny annoyance. The battery time has been great so far and pairing with my thunderbolt 4g was a breeze.

Received these over the weekend and decided to do a quick review. First off, the good:- The headset pairs easily, and the buttons on the right ear work well. They're right in that sweet spot where they're not too hard to press but they're still 'clicky' enough so that you know when you've pressed them.- The body is solid but also folds well for storage. The arms have hinges that fold, but when you extend them to wear them, they click into place in a way that is satisfying. I don't worry about them wearing out anytime soon. They're also lightweight on your head, and the padding over the outside of your ears feels good, even if it's a little undersized. They come with a sack to carry them in, which is nice, but it probably won't last more than a couple of months.- Most importantly, for the price (mine were $21 shipped with the BTHBLACK coupon, Prime, and no tax) the sound is quite good. The volume goes up loud enough to where it can drown out ambient noise, but you'll never burst an eardrum with these. Now, the bad:- The charger is a miniUSB instead of a microUSB port, which is much more common (e.g., what Android phones use). I was looking forward to being able to charge this on the go with my phone cord, but now I'll have to carry a mini one, too. (I know, 1st world problems...)- While the plastic it's made with feels solid, it's also a little bulky behind (i.e., over the top of) your ears. That's the point where these things rest on your head, and Kinivo would have done better to make it slightly thinner so that it would fit more comfortably back there. This is made worse by a seam on the underside of the arms that sits right on that tender spot where your ears connect to your head. I've only had these on right now for 20 minutes or so, and that spot is already starting to rub raw. Any time I move my head or shrug my shoulders or move anything in that part of the body, I can feel it rubbing on one ear or the other.- Aside from that, I've never had a headset that sits behind my neck. I'm wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and anytime I turn my head the part back there catches on the hood. My guess is that it will do the same thing with a collared shirt. This is almost certainly just a function of the design instead of a flaw, but it's something that I wish I had known nonetheless.I have to say, I'm a little torn. I want to keep these, and I do like them, but the rubbing on the tops of my ears might cause me to return them. It's always possible that I'm wearing them incorrectly, but I doubt it; this isn't rocket science. With their low price, I'll almost certainly keep them, but what I might do is take one of my wife's old emery boards and file that seam down smooth. Hopefully that'll fix it.All in all, four stars for a $21 product. Anything over thirty, though, and it would've only been three.
