By WESMAK
Although I think the problem resides within the Treo 700W, I purchased the Palm "Ultralight" Headset because the Palm website said they were compatible. It comes in a nice metal case with 3 different sized earpieces that just "snap" in to the device. Also, for a little more secure feeling, you can put an "around the ear" holder so the device doesn't fall off too easily. Also included in the case is a AAA battery and a module to "Quickcharge" the headset. Cool. It takes the same power supply and connector to the headset as the Treo phone to make it less confusing. Lastly, the metal case has a mirror on the backside so you can see how it looks while you're wearing it.Now, the problems. Again, I think it's the Palm Treo 700W, not the BT Headset that has the problems, but, here they are: Having so many complaints from the people I call that I'm "In a tin can", or, "Sounding too warbled", I've gone back to holding the handset to my ear in order to have people hear me. I'm in outside sales, and I travel all over Washington State, and parts of Oregon, so it's not a matter of "bad reception where I am." I've tried it in my car (Subaru Outback), outside my car, even gone so far as to go into Verizon store and let them hear it. They have no answer, Palm has no answer, and I'm stuck. The problem goes further; I purchased a Motorola 700 BT Headset, and had the same results. I had Verizon provide me with a NEW Treo 700W, and STILL no luck. I think I'm stuck to using a wired headset rather than a Bluetooth with this particular phone.I still like the Palm BT Headset though, and I'm keeping it, even though it doesn't work with the Palm phone it's supposed to work with. I use a Treo 750 Palm and had been trying to pair other brands which were not accepted. Since my purchase of the palm 3330ww Bluetooth Headset, I have had no problems. Thus far, it has been effective and it is a comfortable fit; not falling off or moving around my ear. I guess one can say, I am a satisfied customer.

By Miguel Lantigua
I own a Palm Treo 700wx; so far this has been my experience:Pros:a. Nice form factor.b. Great idea the rubber earbud (takes out the need to use the extra wrap-around-the-ear plastic piece, which I hated in my previous bt headset).c. Never had to re-pair the earpiece after the first connection, which used to happen a lot with my previous palm headset (another model).d. The charger is a separate piece from the actual headset, which allows the last one to be sooooo light and comfortable, since it doesn't carry the extra weight for inner-cables to charge it.e. Good enough time of use. I power it overnight 'cause I leave it connected on my car, using a palm cigarrette powercord I used to own previously. No problems so far.Cons:a. Reception goes from good, to bad, to worse in a blink of an eye. Sometimes clients can't hear me well. Even tho this is a major issue, I still give it four stars since I suspect it has everything to be with my current phone, and not necessarily with the headset.b. Got to make it easier to remove the earbuds. The unit comes with three rubber earbuds, but I haven't been able to change the one that came on the unit since I'm afraid I might force it and break it; yeah, it's that hard to take it out! Should be easier or more practical to do it.c. I believe the unit could have been a little larger, so the microphone would come closer to one's mouth. That way, I think people would be able to hear me more clearly. That's it.Miguel.
